Island in the Sky that one must experience. Built in 1997, it possesses modern facilities with a nice touch of elegant European hospitality. All seven rooms provide a private bath and queen bed (unless otherwise noted). French doors lead to wrap-around decks and breathtaking views.

Master Suite of the second floor with a sweeping views of the Grand Valley- Mt. Named after the owners’ daughter who is a kindergarten teacher. First floor, French door accessing directly to outside, Shaker armoire and night stand, wrought-iron queen bed, over-stuffed chair, views of Mt. Garfield, book cliffs, Grand Mesa, game table, Dish Network TV. Wireless. Rate: $119

Private balcony facing the Colorado National Monument. Queen four-poster bed, game table, views of city and all the way to Utah, oak armoire, second floor, over-stuffed chair, spectacular sunsets when nature provides. Second floor. No TV. Wireless. Rate: $129

Separate from the main house, second floor, 360 degree views, Colorado National Monument, Grand Mesa, Bookcliffs, Mt. Garfield, king and a queen bed, leather couch and loveseat, fully equipped kitchen, two person jetted whirlpool bathroom, separate shower, self standing fireplace, contemporary décor, two-day minimum required, Dish Network TV. Wireless signal is weak, best to use it in the main house. Rate: $215 Weekly and monthly rates available
